The core of the team is made up of active and retired military members - all from two Special Operations groups: Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and Naval Special Warfare (NSW or SEAL). The remaining members of the team are made up of old, broken former athletes that still want to belong to something.

San Diego Cyclo-Vets

@cyclovets

Cyclo-vets.org

We are the San Diego Cyclo-Vets!  Back when amateur racers over 30 were called “Veterans” (now they are “Masters”), we chose our name to reflect the need for a 30 and older club in San Diego. We love new members, no matter if you are a beginner or expert, and offer the chance for you to become a better rider through friendship, support and exposure to the beauty of riding in our marvelous San Diego coasts, valleys, deserts and mountains.

San Diego Velodrome

sdvelodrome.com

Proud sponsor of the San Diego Velodrome.

The mission of the San Diego Velodrome Association:
To create an accessible, safe community, welcoming riders, racers & enthusiasts of all ages.
To develop great athletes & even better people through our programs.
Where fun, opportunities, training & values intersect on an oval.

San Diego VeloYouth

Veloyouth.org

San Diego VeloYouth (SDVY) offers at-risk and disadvantaged teens 18 hours of coaching in cycling at the track in Balboa Park's San Diego Velodrome. The athletes give back (through community service), become mentors to their peers, and "pay it forward" as steps towards earning their own bike.

We gladly accept your donations for San Diego Velo Youth. You can donate at the shop or directly to their website
